PDIP-PSI Will Lobby Members Of DPRD From Other Factions To Approve Anies' Interpellation On Formula E

JAKARTA - The PDIP and PSI factions of the DKI DPRD have submitted a proposal for Interpellation Rights for Formula E to the Chair of the DKI DPRD. However, it is not there yet, after this the DPRD will determine the schedule for holding a plenary meeting to decide whether the interpellation can be held or not.

In order to approve the implementation of the interpellation, DPRD members who are present at the plenary meeting must meet a quorum of 50 percent + 1 or as many as 54 DPRD members.

Currently, there are only 33 DPRD members who have proposed the interpellation of Formula E. Therefore, PDIP and PSI will lobby DPRD members from other factions to participate in plenary meetings.

"From now onwards, we will continue the roadshow and establish communication with friends from other factions," said PSI faction member Viani Limaardi after submitting the interpellation proposal at the DKI DPRD Building, Thursday, August 26.

Viani views that there are actually DPRD members from other factions who claim to object to the implementation of Formula E, such as members of the Golkar and Democrat factions. However, they did not participate in signing the interpellation proposal due to the considerations of their respective factions. But the communication that we have built with other factions is still ongoing, "said Viani.

Meanwhile, PDIP faction member Ima Mahdiah also hopes that other faction members will agree to the interpellation and attend the plenary meeting. This is because the number of DPRD members who propose interpellation is not sufficient to meet the quorum in the plenary meeting.

"We hope that friends who may want to come forward as individuals can attend the plenary forum. Because if we only have 33 people in the plenary session, we lose votes. We cannot continue the interpellation," said Ima.
