PPKM Level IV In Sukabumi Extended Again, 100 Percent Non-essential Activities WFH
SUKABUMI - The Regent of Sukabumi, Marwan Hamami, has again extended the status of the restriction on community activities at level IV for the fourth time in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Sukabumi Regency, West Java.
Public Relations of the Sukabumi Regency COVID-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling, Eneng Yulia said, the extension of the PPKM status was stated in the Sukabumi Regent's Decree Number: 443.1/Kep.764-HUKUM/2021.
"The status of the fourth PPKM level IV extension is valid from August 24 to August 30, 2021. In the decree there are several points that must be adhered to by the entire community so that the spread of COVID-19 can be suppressed," he said in Sukabumi, Antara, Wednesday, August 25.
As for the basis for the extension of this PPKM, the results of field evaluations on the development of the COVID-19 pandemic still show cases of transmission, so it is necessary to continue the regulation.
The decree also regulates community activities such as in the education sector with the implementation of teaching and learning activities (KBM) carried out by distance learning. Then non-essential activities are enforced 100 percent work at home or work from home (WFH).
Meanwhile, trading activities in both modern and traditional markets are allowed to continue to operate, but operating hours are limited to 15.00 WIB and the maximum number of visits is 50 percent of capacity.
Then for food stalls, restaurants and the like, the operating hours are limited to 20.00 WIB, for places to eat in open areas, they can serve meals at a maximum of 25 percent of the room capacity. However, for eating places that are in a building or a closed room are not allowed to eat on the spot, only allowed for take away services.
Furthermore, public transportation and places of worship can only be filled to a maximum of 50 percent of capacity and public facilities such as playgrounds, tours and other public areas are closed.
"We also urge the public to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols, because this deadly virus can attack anyone, even every day we receive reports of additional cases of people being confirmed positive and dying from COVID-19," he added.
Eneng said that to enforce the regulation, the Sukabumi Regency Government together with the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVI-19, the TNI, Polri and other related agencies had coordinated, but the enforcement of the rule was more about education to increase public awareness and discipline in implementing health protocols, except for committing violations that could not be violated. be tolerated such as carrying out activities that have the potential to spread this virus.
