Behind West Ham's Big Win Over Leicester, There's A Playboy Model Presence At The London Stadium
JAKARTA - West Ham successfully beat Leicester City 4-1 in the second week of the Premier League, Tuesday morning this morning. However, behind the slick play of David Moyes' children, there is something else interesting in this match. What's that?
The Daily Star reported that on Tuesday, August 24, Italian Playboy model Laura Bragato was present at the London Stadium to watch the match. He came at the special invitation of the Sullivan family, the owners of the Hammers club.
"I know the Sullivan family, they are very good people. They invited me to see the (West Ham versus Leicester) game," said Bragato.
This is not the first time for Bragato to visit the London Stadium. Two years ago, he also posed on the side of the West Ham home field.
Bragato is also friends with former Hammers loanee and Manchester United star Jesse Lingard. During last year's lockdown and at the 2018 Russia World Cup, Lingard frequently texted Bragato.
"I haven't spoken to Jesse lately, we're both busy, but I saw him move to West Ham on loan," Bragato said of Lingard.
"And the first time I met Jesse was when he came to Italy in Milan for a holiday."
Bragato himself initially rose to prominence in Italy for wearing a Serie A shirt and was hailed as the "sexy face of football" in the country.
In July, Daily Star Sport revealed that Premier League stars sent direct messages to the model during Euro 2020.
"Many footballers contacted me after posing with soccer jerseys in Italy," Bragato responded.
"I messaged some of them but nothing happened. They are English, but not playing at the moment."
