Jakarta Composite Index Opened Strengthened 0.30 Percent To Level 4,911.23
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) opened higher on Friday, June 26 trading. JCI opened higher by 0.30 percent or 14.50 points to 4,911.23 levels.
Opening trades, 30 stocks rose, 14 stocks fell, and 19 stocks remained stagnant. The trading volume was recorded at 19.99 million shares and was transacted for IDR 11.30 billion.
Binaartha Sekuritas analyst M. Nafan Aji Gusta Utama projected that the JCI would move up today. "There is a potential for strengthening in the JCI movement so that it has the opportunity to go to the nearest resistance," he said.
Based on technical analysis, the resistance level referred to by Nafan is in the range between 4,975 and 5,097. Meanwhile, the support area in today's trading is at the levels of 4,865 to 4,778.
As for a number of share recommendations that can be considered by investors, including PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO), PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE), PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF), PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), and PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON).
Meanwhile, Reliance Sekuritas analyst, Lanjar Nafi, said that technically, the JCI rate did appear to be weakening, but its movement was still in a positive trend.
Furthermore, Lanjar said, so far the JCI movement will still move moderately in the tendency to try to close the movement in the green zone, with a support-resistance range at 4,830-4,965 levels.
In the midst of the opportunity to strengthen the JCI in today's trading, Lanjar offered a number of shares that could be played by market players, namely PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA), PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE), PT Indosat Tbk ( ISAT), and PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL).
