Youth From Blitar Who Owns Methamphetamine And Thousands Of Koplo Pills Arrested In Tabanan

TABANAN - A young man from Blitar, East Java, named Bagus Imam Aidin alias Bagus (19) was arrested by the Tabanan Resort Police team, Bali. It's good to have a package of methamphetamine and thousands of koplo pills.

"This is the disclosure of cases of methamphetamine and illegal drugs in the form of yellow and white tablets brand "Y" and DMP tablets," said Tabanan Police Chief AKBP Ranefli Dian Candra, at the Tabanan Police Headquarters, Bali, Monday, August 23.

The arrest of the perpetrator began on Thursday, August 19 when the police received a report that the perpetrator was distributing methamphetamine and Koplo pills. The perpetrator was then arrested at a hotel located in Abiantuwung Village, Kediri, Tabanan Regency, Bali.

When arrested, the perpetrator brought two packages of clips containing clear crystals in a clear plastic pipette with a yellow strip wrapped in black plaster, namely narcotics of methamphetamine weighing 0.48 grams gross or 0.20 grams net, and 1 plastic clip inside containing 4 white pills with the Y logo or pill koplo.

From the search, the police again found drug-related items at the perpetrator's boarding house in Padang Sambian, Denpasar.

In addition, the police also found 18 pieces of plastic inside containing 1,000 white pills each with the Y logo. Also confiscated were 43 plastic clips which contained 10 white pills each with a total of 30,434 Koplo pills bearing the Y and DMP logo.

The perpetrator admitted that he had been circulating Koplo pills and crystal methamphetamine for 6 months. This drug was obtained from a person with the initials T.

"The perpetrator is a Java-Bali crossing actor who kept the prohibited items in a cardboard box and a black carrying bag was placed in the boarding room. The plan will be circulated in the Denpasar, Tabanan area, targeting young people, with economic motivation because the perpetrators were laid off, from their jobs as employees of a restaurant," he said.

The suspect was charged with Article 112 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
