The Amount Of Tourism Potential Becomes A Factor For CSAP Inaugurating The 35th Mitra10 In Lombok
JAKARTA - PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana Tbk (CSAP) today continues its Mitra10 expansion plan. The company by conducting inaugurated the opening of their 35th Mitra10 which is located in Mataram, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
This building materials retail outlet occupies a land area of 15,000 square meters located on Jalan Terusan Bung Hatta, Monjok, Mataram, Lombok, NTB. As in other big cities, the location for selecting Mitra10 Lombok outlets cannot be separated from Lombok's economic potential as a tourist destination and the potential for growth in the property sector.
CSAP is a distribution company for building materials, chemicals and consumer goods. CSAP is the owner of retail store chain Mitra10, and furniture retailer Atria.
"Welcoming the new normal and to move back the national economy, especially Lombok, we inaugurate the 35th Mitra10 in Lombok. Mitra10 Lombok offers more than 80 percent of domestically made products and absorbs around 140 local workers," said Idrus Widjajakusuma, Secretary PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana Tbk, in a virtual press conference, Thursday 25 June.
Meanwhile, Mitra10 implemented a protocol to prevent the spread of COVID-19 from the start in accordance with directives and regulations from both central and local governments. All Mitra10 employees are equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) in the form of masks, gloves and face shields, as well as providing disinfectant liquid around the sales area and periodically spraying disinfectants in all shop areas.
Visitors must also pass a temperature test before entering, wear a mask while in the shop area and wash their hands before and after entering the shop. This is a standard procedure in every Mitra10 shop.
Mitra10 Mataram, Lombok has a selling area of more than 3,800 square meters, supported by a warehouse area of nearly 2,000 square meters. These products are divided into 13 categories, ranging from paints and their variants, floors and walls, bathrooms, kitchens, doors and windows, plumbing, building materials, electricity and lighting, home appliances (hardware), tools, hobbies, household furniture (houseware), to home appliances.
"We are targeting end users, namely home owners who want to renovate or build new housing," said Idrus.
Idrus added, since a few years ago, a number of national developers began eyeing the Lombok area as an expansion area for the property business. Lombok is targeted because it is considered to have great potential, especially as a premium tourist destination such as the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK) and several other tourist destinations such as Gili Trawangan.
"Business growth in the property sector is promising. Both for lodging needs as a tourist area, residential or residential areas as well as for commercial needs," said Idrus.
Previously, CSAP had targeted to have 50 outlets by 2021. Previously, in 2019, CSAP opened five new Mitra10 branches in Cirebon, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Makassar and Solo.
"2020 is a year full of challenges for all of us, including for the business world. We must optimize all potential growth amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the weakening of the global economy," said Idris.
