Sara Fajira Sad Because Of A Crazy Lover's Ballad Film

JAKARTA - Singer Sara Fajira greets fans through her latest film project entitled Ballad of a Crazy Lover directed by Anggy Umbara.

Released on Friday, August 20 yesterday, Sara played an ODGJ (People in Mental Disorders) named Lastri. Unfortunately, Sara Fajira felt sad about the film she played.

The reason is that Lastri's character experiences a lot of suffering in her story, ranging from sexual harassment to being raped by a group of people.

"I think that's the thing that makes me feel really sad even if it's just acting. From there, I could tell that this is what it feels like for women who have been harassed and it's very hard,” said Sara Fajira during a virtual press conference at KlikFilm.

Sara's co-star, Denny Sumargo also felt something while acting in the film Ballad of a Crazy Lover.

"The real acting is when we can express our feelings in the dialogue and I've only felt that moment as long as I've played the film," said Denny.

This film is directed by Anggy Umbara with a script written by Han Gagas who won the Falcon Script Hunt competition in 2020. The story about ODGJ presented is a real event witnessed by Han Gagas.

The Ballad of a Crazy Couple presents the tragic story of two humans in search of love and a better life. This film can be watched via the KlikFilm streaming service.
