DMI Central Jakarta: Mobile Vaccination At Places Of Worship Will Be Held For 2 Days
JAKARTA - The Central Jakarta Council of Indonesian Mosques (DMI) supports the acceleration of COVID-19 vaccination in a number of places of worship in DKI Jakarta. The vaccination program at this place of worship is carried out on Saturdays and Sundays. This is done to target people who cannot reach the vaccine center especially during weekdays. "So for Central Jakarta itself regarding the vaccine around places of worship, we have prepared two mosques in those two days. We focus on residential areas, "said the chairman of the Central Jakarta DMI, Syawaludin, in Johar Baru, Saturday, August 21.
Vaccination in places of worship, he continued, is a collaboration in an effort to help create herd immunity for the people of DKI Jakarta.
"So we are mobile. Usually we hold Saturdays and Sundays. Because during holidays, people are more free, yes, they have a lot of time, on weekdays they may be busy with work done at home," he said.
Although the vaccination program at this place of worship has been running a few weeks ago.
Syawaludin assessed that the enthusiasm of the community to participate in mobile vaccination activities at this place of worship was also a lot. This can be seen by the large number of people who register.
