Good News From Tangerang, 24,150 COVID-19 Patients Recovered, Task Force: Alhamdulillah Healing Rate Increases To 95 Percent
JAKARTA - The Tangerang, Banten Regency COVID-19 Handling and Countermeasures Task Force (Satgas) recorded that as many as 24,150 patients who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 in the area were declared cured after undergoing intensive health care by the medical team, either in hospitals or isolation places.
Spokesperson for the Tangerang Regency COVID-19 Task Force, Hendra Tarmizi said that as many as 24,150 COVID-19 patients were from the overall recovery rate since the emergence of the pandemic.
"Thank God, since the PPKM, the recovery rate has increased to 95 percent. With a total additional number this week, 57 people have recovered," he said, quoted from Antara, Saturday, August 21.
He added that the number of patients undergoing treatment has also decreased. With the current total number of 305 people.
"The same applies to patients being treated, there is a significant decrease, now there are 305 people recorded," he said.
According to him, the decline in the number of cases is the impact of the current public awareness of implementing health protocols (proles) and the implementation of level 4 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in Tangerang Regency.
"Since this PPKM was implemented, it has been seen that there has been a decrease in the findings of active COVID-19 cases, plus public awareness regarding the prokes has started to increase," he said.
He hopes that the community will continue to improve the discipline of the health care program without exception, including those who have received the COVID-19 vaccination.
"Although there is a decrease in cases, the public remains vigilant and must obey existing government regulations," he said.
As for the Tangerang District Health Office data, as of Saturday, August 21, the total number of confirmed positive COVID-19 patients was 25,216 cases.
As for the patients undergoing treatment as many as 305 people, then the patients who are now declared cured from COVID-19 are 24,150 people
Furthermore, the number of patients who died due to exposure to the corona virus was a total of 381 people, for isolation patients a total of 380 people.
