Joint Officers Ringkus 5 PSK And 1 Transgender From The Kemayoran Area
JAKARTA - A total of five commercial sex workers (PSK) and one waria (women and men) were secured by joint officers of the TNI, Polri, Satpol PP and the Central Jakarta Social Service Sub-dept while enforcing health protocols (Prokes) during the PPKM period in the Kemayoran area. The five prostitutes had the initials RS, F, EAS, S and SG. Meanwhile, one transvestite has the initials A alias Shinta.
The operation was carried out by dozens of joint officers from the Central Jakarta Social Sub-dept., the Kemayoran Police and the Kemayoran Complex Management Center (PPK) on Friday, August 20, evening.
"Yes, that's right, 6 people were arrested from locations around Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. This operation follows up on reports from the public who are disturbed by the presence of the women prostitutes," said Central Jakarta Social Sub-department Head Ngapuli Paranginangin when confirmed by VOI, Saturday 21 August.
After outreach by officers, the six people were put into the KDO car belonging to the Social Service. Then they were taken to the Kemayoran Police to be recorded and undergo a rapid antigen test.
"After the rapid test last night, thank God, the results were all negative. The six people were immediately sent to the Bangun Daya Social Institution (Panti Sosial Bina Insan), Kedoya, West Jakarta," he said.
The operation was carried out because the area often saw crowds of residents because there was a dimly lit shop in the Kemayoran area.
"We anticipate crowds and people will be disturbed. We coordinate with the Sector Police, Satpol PP and PPK Kemayoran. We can save them, now they are in PSBI Kedoya to undergo social coaching," he said.
