Family Member Dies Of COVID-19, Brighton Manager Urges Players To Be Vaccinated

JAKARTA - Brighton & Hove Albion manager Graham Potter asked the players to take the COVID-19 vaccination after the coach lost a family member to the disease.

The number of positive tests in the Premier League has increased recently with 11 cases reported in Monday's latest test.

"I've had first-hand experience of family members who weren't vaccinated, and it's a shame they lost their lives to the disease," Potter said ahead of Saturday's Premier League game against Watford.

"He's 48 years old, of course not the same age as the players, but still young with two kids, so it's tragic.

"I recommend getting vaccinated because I don't want anyone else to experience it," Potter added.

"It was very sad to go through and witness, and tragic for the family. He got sick fast, he responded badly to the disease and it's on the decline."
