Rebooted Version Of Unsolved Mysteries Show On Netflix
JAKARTA - The Netflix streaming service knows how to attract subscribers with their content. Through a trailer released on Tuesday, June 23, they confirmed that they will present a rebooted version of the Unsolved Mysteries television show.
In the trailer, tension through the voice of the host and informant is the key to the series. Stories about trauma and past lives are the source of solving cases.
Unsolved Mysteries is a television show that deals with mystery cases and deals with the paranormal side. The show first aired in 1987 through creators Terry Dunn Meurer and John Cosgrove on NBC.
Later, Unsolved Mysteries aired on CBS, Lifetime, and ended on Spike TV. Now, Netflix is ready to bring this show back with the help of Meurer and Cosgrove. Stranger Things producer Shawn Levy is the main producer of the show.
In the trailer, it is not known who will be the presenter of Unsolved Mysteries. The presenters of this show often changed as television channels moved, from Raymond Burr, Karl Malden, Robert Stack, and Virginia Madsen.
Reporting from Indiewire, each episode of Unsolved Mysterie will focus on one case. Different from the original version which averaged four cases in one episode. The show will start broadcasting with 12 episodes. However, Netflix confirmed only the first six episodes will be released on July 1, while the rest have yet to be announced.
