Investigating Gratification Allegations, KPK Explores Fees From A Number Of Projects In North Lampung
JAKARTA - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have asked for information from five witnesses regarding the alleged gratification case at the North Lampung Regency Government on Thursday, August 19 yesterday.
During the examination, investigators investigated a number of things against the witnesses, including the provision of fees from projects carried out by the North Lampung Regency Government.
The four witnesses examined were two Civil Servants (PNS) named Romi and Febriantoro and two private persons named Yuman Erhan and Tri Ferdiansyah. They were examined at the Lampung BPKP Office.
Meanwhile, one other witness, namely the former Head of the Lampung Regency Government's Trade Office, Wan Hendri, was questioned at the Kotabumi Prison.
"All the witnesses were present and confirmed, among others, related to various project work in the North Lampung Regency Government and the suspicion of giving a sum of money in the form of a fee for the implementation of the project," said Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector Ali Fikri to reporters quoted on Friday, August 20.
As previously reported, the KPK has examined three witnesses, namely an entrepreneur named Wijaya Saleh; Syahbudin who is an ASN; and the private sector, Raden Syahril on Wednesday, August 18.
During the inspection, they were confirmed regarding the alleged flow of a sum of money from project fees collected by related parties.
For information, the anti-corruption commission is indeed investigating allegations of receiving gratuities in North Lampung Regency, Lampung. This investigation has entered the investigation stage and begins with the development of the alleged corruption case that they are currently handling.
However, the KPK has not been able to detail the chronology and the parties named as suspects. Details related to this alleged gratification case will be conveyed when there is a forced attempt in the form of arrest and/or detention.
