Police Reveals Case Of Woman Murder In Demak, Perpetrator Admits Jealousy Because Victim Suspected Of Cheating
DEMAK - The Demak Police Team, Central Java, has uncovered the motive of a man killing his girlfriend at a hotel in Kudus Regency. The perpetrator also dumped his girlfriend's body on the outskirts of the Wulan River, Mijen, Demak.
"The perpetrator's modus operandi was because he was jealous seeing the victim often going out with other men," said Demak Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Budi Adhy Buono, quoted from a statement from the Demak Police Public Relations, Thursday, August 19.
The suspect with the initials HR (20) admitted that he was annoyed with his girlfriend, Dewi Astutik (19), because he was considered cheating. On Sunday, August 15, the perpetrator used a car to take the victim to the Java Hotel in the Kudus Regency area
At the hotel, the perpetrator and the victim had sex. At around 03.00 WIB in the morning, the perpetrators ensnared. the victim's neck with a rope while the victim is asleep. The bodies of the victims were taken to the Wulan river embankment and dumped.
"The perpetrator was identified 1x24 hours based on an investigation by the Demak Police Satresmob Unit, the results led to this HR," said the Police Chief.
According to him, the suspect had planned a murder case because the victim was 6 months pregnant. The suspect was charged with articles 340 of the Criminal Code and 338 of the Criminal Code.
Meanwhile, the perpetrator claimed to be jealous because he knew the victim was 6 months pregnant while the two had only been dating for 4 months.
"I saw with my own eyes, he went to the hotel with another man. I was jealous, because he was already six months pregnant while we had only four months of intercourse," said the perpetrator.
