Show Cartoons Of Messi And The Taliban, Charlie Hebdo Magazine: They're Worse Than We Think

JAKARTA - Charlie Hebdo magazine is again the subject of discussion. This time, they featured a controversial cartoon depicting the Taliban wearing a Lionel Messi jersey.

The cover comes after the Taliban briefly seized control of Afghanistan, regaining power after a 21-year war with the United States and allied forces.

The magazine is never far from the headlines, albeit with tragic consequences like in 2015 when they publicized the relationship between countries like Qatar, which is accused of funding Islamic terrorism, and the relationship between the PSG president and the emir's family.

On his most recent cover, there is an image of three women wearing blue burqas, with the name Messi and the number 30, which he will wear at PSG, this image then accompanied by the sentence: 'Taliban, they are worse than we think.'

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of PSG, maintains ties to the family of the emir of Qatar, the country that funds the club.

Women are said to be the group most affected by the return of the Taliban to power in Afghanistan. The group enforces a strict form of sharia law, which limits social mobility and women's freedoms.

They cannot walk alone on the street, go to school or university, they do not have a permit to work outside the home and they cannot be treated by male doctors.
