Good News For Depok Residents: Malls Are Opening Again But Unfortunately Cinemas Are Still Closed

JAKARTA - The City Government (Pemkot) of Depok, West Java, has allowed shopping centers or malls to reopen by implementing strict health protocols (prokes) for visitors and shopping center employees.

"Shopping centers or malls are being tested for the implementation of health protocols (prokes) by being allowed to operate from 10:00 to 20:00 WIB and the number of visitors is limited to 50 percent. For people's markets for non-daily needs, they are allowed to operate until 15.00 WIB with a capacity of 50 percent.

Meanwhile, street vendors, grocery stores, agents or voucher outlets, barbershops, laundry, hawkers, small workshops, vehicle washers, and others are allowed to open with strict health protocols until 20.00 WIB.

The next rule is regarding restrictions on eating and drinking activities in public places. Food stalls or warteg, street vendors, hawker stalls and the like are allowed to open with strict health protocols until 20.00 WIB. With diners eating at the most three people and a maximum meal time of 30 minutes.

For restaurants or restaurants, cafes located in closed buildings or shops located in separate locations, are allowed to open until 21.00 WIB. Provided that each visitor shows a certificate or vaccine card, accepts dine-in with a maximum capacity of 25 percent, one table for a maximum of two people, a maximum meal time of 30 minutes.
