[VIDEO] The Afghan Capital Situation Seems Normal

JAKARTA - Routines in the Afghan capital, Kabul are gradually returning to normal. The Taliban asked residents to return to their homes and promised to guarantee their safety.

The Taliban also urged government employees to return to work on Tuesday, August 17. They also encourage women to join the government.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid tweeted that the situation in Qabul was fully under control and law and order had been restored.
