DENPASAR - Foreign nationals (foreigners) from Tanzania named Glory Pius Nanai (28) and their child, Galinda Kiril Valchev (5 months) will be deported for violating immigration in the form of exceeding the period of stay in Bali.
"This foreigner will be deported and his name put on the deterrence list because the person concerned has overstayed for more than 60 days, in accordance with Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration Article 78 paragraph (3)," said Head of the Bali Ministry of Law and Human Rights Office, Jamaruli Manihuruk. , Wednesday, August 18th.
He said the deportation of foreigners from Tanzania could not be carried out because his party did not have a return ticket to their country of origin. For this reason, Glory Pius Nanai and his son Galinda Kiril Valchev were temporarily detained at the Denpasar Rudenim.
The existence of this Tanzanian citizen in Bali was trapped unable to return to his country because he ran out of money, which was previously used to give birth.
"She is visa-free in early 2020, overstayed for about 500 days, initially she was on vacation, stuck because of the pandemic, ran out of money to give birth, wanted to go home, there were no flights and no more costs," he said.
Jamaruli said Glory Pius Nanai entered Bali on February 23, 2020 alone. In addition, he said, while in Bali, he also lived to move and did not stay in one area only.
"He (Tanzania WN) himself was in Bali and he moved from Kuta Canggu (Badung Regency) to Ubud (Gianyar Regency)," he said.
