Aceh Police Name 9 Cow Corruption Suspects
BANDA ACEH - Investigators from the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) of the Aceh Regional Police have named nine suspects for alleged corruption in cattle procurement at the Saree Artificial Insemination Incubator (IBI) UPTD, Aceh Livestock Service for the 2017 fiscal year.
Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the Aceh Police, Kombes Sony Sanjaya, said that the suspect was named after investigators obtained evidence and asked dozens of witnesses.
"The decision was made after the case was filed. Nine people have been named as suspects. All of them have evidence of alleged corruption in the cattle procurement project," said Kombes Sony Sanjaya, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, August 18.
Sony named the suspects, with the initials ZY, as the budget user, SS as the head of the working group (pokja), AK as the secretary of the working group, and DW as a member of the working group.
Next, suspect AH as the power user of the budget (KPA) who is also a commitment-making official (PPK), IPS as the technical implementing officer of the activity (PPTK) and HA as the Chair of the Work Results Examination Committee (PPHP), KW as the Director of CV. MC who is also a procurement partner, and SY field officer CV MC.
"The suspects have their respective roles in this case. Their role is evidence of violating the law, so the nine people are named suspects," said Kombes Sony.
Meanwhile, based on the results of an audit by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) for the Aceh Representative, state losses reached Rp 1.2 billion from the Rp 3.4 billion budget ceiling.
In investigating this case, said Kombes Sony Sanjaya, the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation at the Aceh Police has dispatched a team to the Government Goods and Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) in Medan, North Sumatra.
"In addition to investigating allegations of corruption, the team to LKPP is also investigating indications of other project irregularities in UPTD Saree for the 2017 budget year, which reached Rp. 158 billion," said Kombes Sony.
