Minister Of Social Affairs Risma Auctions Her Homemade Fried Rice With Millions For Charity
JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini is auctioning her homemade fried rice for charity at the closing ceremony of the 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.
The closing of the commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia includes an auction of fried rice cooked by the Minister of Social Affairs to raise funds for social activities.
The Directorate General of Social Protection and Security won the first auction with a purchase of IDR 5 million, the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation won the second auction with a purchase of IDR 6 million, and the Directorate General of Social Empowerment won the third auction with a purchase of IDR 5,150,000.
The Minister of Social Affairs advised all employees of the Ministry of Social Affairs to work wholeheartedly to help people in need.
“My message to all hall employees is to continue to be proactive and maximize the hall's facilities to help and help others in need. I wish you good luck in carrying out this noble task. Trust me, God will definitely repay the good you did," he said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, August 18.
The Minister of Social Affairs also gave awards to Ministry of Social workers, who sometimes had to travel for several days to provide social assistance.
In addition, Risma encourages the Ministry of Social Affairs' centers to reach out to people who need assistance in various parts of the country.
"We encourage the role of the Ministry of Social's offices that have responded to social problems and are passionate about serving the community, such as in Eastern Indonesia, which handles mental problems by mapping the problem and then preparing psychologists and psychiatrists," he said.
