Want To Hear Input, Papua Governor Lukas Enembe Will Meet OPD Leaders

JAKARTA - The Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, plans to hold a gathering with the leaders of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the local provincial government.

Spokesperson for the Governor of Papua, Muhammad Rifai Darus, said this was aimed at hearing directly the suggestions and inputs from each OPD regarding the development of the Cenderawasih Earth.

"Governor Lukas Enembe also appreciates OPD leaders who are still loyal to work for the Papuan people while he is sick," he said in Jayapura, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, August 18.

According to him, Enembe felt the need to meet with OPD leaders after being sick for a long time. "Governor Lukas hopes that there are things that can be discussed together for the progress of Papua in the future," he said.

He explained that Enembe also wanted to know what obstacles the OPD leaders had encountered so far.

He added that Enembe hoped that the gathering could provide beneficial changes for the development and progress of Papua in the future.
