WINNER Extends Contract With YG Entertainment
JAKARTA - Good news comes from K-pop group WINNER. Today, August 18, the four members of the group extended their contracts with the agency YG Entertainment.
Through an official statement, Kang Seung Yoon, Lee Seung Hoon, Song Mino, and Kim Jin Woo renewed their contracts for the next five years.
This was done at the same time as WINNER celebrated their seventh year debut on Tuesday, August 17.
"We want to say we always respect INNER CIRCLE (WINNER's fans) who are always by our side. We exist because of all of you," WINNER said through their agency.
“We want to continue our musical journey and share many memories with you.”
WINNER is a YG Entertainment group that debuted in 2014 with the debut album 2014 S/S. They scored various hits that topped the South Korean music charts.
Currently, the group's activities are being suspended due to two WINNER members, Kim Jin Woo and Lee Seung Hoo serving in the military. Meanwhile, Song Mino and Kang Seung Yoon are actively promoting solo.
Song Mino released a new album and actively participated in several variety shows. This year, Kang Seung Yoon officially debuted solo with YAH and starred in a number of dramas such as Voice 4 and Racket Boys.
