KPK Investigates Allegations Of Gratification In North Lampung Regency

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is currently investigating allegations of receiving gratuities in North Lampung Regency, Lampung.

This investigation is the development of the alleged corruption case which is currently being handled by the KPK. The case is currently in the investigation stage.

"KPK is currently carrying out activities to develop investigations into allegations of corruption related to receiving gratuities in the North Lampung Regency Government," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Affairs Ali Fikri told reporters, Wednesday, August 18.

Even so, he could not detail the chronology and the parties named as suspects. Details related to this alleged gratification case, said Ali, will only be conveyed when there is a forced effort in the form of arrest and/or detention.

"At that time, the KPK will convey to the public the details of the construction of the case, what evidence is there and the party who has been designated as a suspect along with the articles of his suspicion," he said. Even so, the KPK invites the public to be active in overseeing each process of investigating the alleged crime in North Lampung.

"We will continue to provide further information regarding the development of information regarding the handling of this case," he concluded.
