Still Remember The SIM Simulator Case? Now Budi Susanto Pays Replacement Money Of IDR 88 Billion
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) received replacement money from the convict in the driver's license (SIM) simulator corruption case, Budi Susanto, with a total of IDR 88 billion. This acceptance is based on the decision of the Supreme Court Number: 1452 K/Pid.Sus/2014 dated October 13, 2014.
"Execution Prosecutor Nanang Suryadi and Irman Yudiandri in the context of asset recovery resulting from corruption crimes have implemented the Supreme Court's decision," Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Ali Fikri told reporters, Wednesday, August 18.
The compensation received by the KPK from Budi was in the form of a house unit along with land and buildings on Jalan Agung Karya V Blok A No. 15 North Jakarta. Ali explained, based on the Assessment Report from the Jakarta III KPKNL Assessment Team, the fair price of this asset reached Rp56,745,558,000.
The anti-corruption commission also received two units of land and buildings on Jalan Gempol, Kelurahan Cigondewah and Jalan Cigondewah Cibiut Block at a fair price of Rp. 28,411,084, 000. Furthermore, the KPK also received a payment for the lack of replacement money amounting to Rp. 3,113,284,695.
As a result, the total booty and cash handed over by Budi reached Rp. 88,269,926,695 plus the results of the auction that was carried out in the form of a 2012 Kijang Innova car for Rp. 177 million. "Then it will be compensated as a replacement payment of Rp. 88,446,926,695,000," Ali explained.
"KPK continues to make optimal efforts to collect replacement money payments to corruption convicts, which are then deposited into the state treasury for the public interest," he concluded.
