Good News! PCR Test Rates At Soekarno-Hatta And Husein Sastranegara Airports Dropped To IDR 495 Thousand
JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) said that the tariff for RT-PCR examinations at the Airport Health Center at Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang) and Husein Sastranegara Airport (Bandung) had fallen to Rp. 495 thousand (1x24 hour results).
This rate reduction is in line with the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Health Number: HK.02.02/I/2845/2021 concerning the Highest Tariff Limit for Reserve Transcrption Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) examinations.
"PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) as the manager of Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Husein Sastranegara Airport has coordinated with Farmalab as the provider of health facilities that run Airport Health Centers at the two airports to reduce the RT-PCR rate to Rp.495,000 in line with the SE from the Ministry of Health. VP of Corporate Communication AP II Yado Yarismano said in his statement, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, August 18.
Yado Yarismano added that the Airport Health Center was operated as a facility to support prospective airline passengers in meeting health protocols in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Travel during this pandemic is only for urgent needs, and we also urge prospective airline passengers to be able to carry out COVID-19 tests at other health facilities outside the airport so that upon arrival at the airport they can immediately process departures," he said.
The Airport Health Center at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is open 24 hours at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, while at Husein Sastranegara Airport it is opened at 07.00 - 16.00 WIB.
Meanwhile, for the rapid antigen test service at the Airport Health Center, Farmalab reduced the tariff to Rp. 125,000 at all airports managed by AP II.
Prospective flight passengers must show a vaccination card and a COVID-19 test certificate as required to be able to travel during this pandemic.
