DKI Jakarta Starts Injecting Modern Vaccine, Here Are The Terms And Location

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta began injecting the Moderna vaccine for the public, aka non-health workers, as of Tuesday, August 17.

There are 100,030 residents with certain criteria who will get it. Each will receive 2 doses with an interval of administration for 28 days. Thus, a total of 200,060 doses of mRNA-based vaccine will be administered.

The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is only given to DKI Jakarta ID card holders or domiciled in DKI with evidence of a minimum domicile letter from the RT.

For those who have a history of certain diseases, are required to carry out additional examinations.

The head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Office, Widyastuti, said that the Moderna vaccine was given to residents who had never received either dose 1 or dose 2 of the COVID-19 vaccination. who practice in any health facility (FKTP/FKRTL) (not necessarily BPJS) and the letter is archived by the injecting health facility," said Dr Widyastuti in a statement Tuesday, August 17.

Thus, said Widya, there is no booster or dose 3 injection for non health workers.
