Divers Fly Red And White At Aquarium Koral Restaurant The Apurva Kempinski Bali

BADUNG - A number of divers who are officers at Koral Restaurant, The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Nusa Dua, Badung, Bali, raised the Red and White flag in the restaurant's aquarium.

"We carried out this flag-raising activity in the water to help enliven the celebration of the 76th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia," said Public Relations & Marketing Manager of The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Yoshanna Korompis, as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, August 17.

Yoshanna said, Koral Restaurant is synonymous with the concept of an aquarium with more than 2,300 fish consisting of 63 species. Therefore, his party took the initiative to combine the aquarium concept with the momentum to commemorate the Indonesian Independence Day through the raising of the flag by the divers.

Not only flying the flag underwater, in this activity the divers also wore the uniform of the ceremonial officers.

"We hope that this flag-raising activity in the water can also increase our nationalism," said Yoshanna Korompis.

Meanwhile, one of the divers, Wayan Leo said, the experience of unfurling the Red and White flag during the commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in the water was a matter of pride for him.

"The difficulty is indeed there, such as to regulate the balance in the water. In addition to unfurling the red and white flag, there must be two people, so they have to manage the coordination as well," he said.
