Prilly Latuconsina, Angga Yunanda, Jefri Nichol, And Tissa Biani Become FFI 2021 Ambassadors

JAKARTA - Four well-known young actors have been appointed as Ambassadors of the 2021 Indonesian Film Festival (FFI). The four names are Prilly Latuconsina, Angga Yunanda, Jefri Nichol, and Tissa Biani.

These four names will be the faces of FFI 2021 which will be held next November. The selection of actors was appointed by the Chairman of the Committee, Reza Rahadian along with other committee teams.

Judging from the four names, they are a row of actors who dominate the entertainment industry with extraordinary acting.

Prilly Latuconsina is an actress who has been poor across the world of acting. Some of the films he starred in were successful at the box office, such as Danur and Hangout. Likewise with Angga Yunanda who started playing films in 2018.

His name skyrocketed as he acted in the film directed by Gina S. Noer, Two Blue Lines. Thanks to his role, Angga also received a nomination for Best Male Actor at the 2019 Indonesian Film Festival.

Jefri Nichol who has played 14 film titles including Jailangkung, Love Letter to Starla, and Dreadout. As for Tissa Biani, for the second time, she has assumed the position of FFI Ambassador after 2020.

These four stars have the same influence on the film industry through the various roles they take. In addition, they also agreed that FFI needed support from the community in the midst of a pandemic.

“Being chosen as an FFI ambassador is something to be proud of. Hopefully we can spread the echo of the Indonesian Film Festival further and contribute to the progress of Indonesian cinema," said Jefri Nichol.

FFI is also expected to be a spirit for young people to continue to develop. “With FFI, which is supported by young people, we can both restore the mindset of the younger generation. That self-quality is not determined by digital assets, but self-quality and honesty in work," said Prilly Latuconsina.

The 41st Indonesian Film Festival will be held on November 10, 2021. This date was chosen as well as a campaign to propose Usmar Ismail, a national film figure as a national hero.
