JAKARTA - The theft of a motorbike in a boarding house on Jalan Waringin II, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, has occurred again. Luckily, the theft was caught on CCTV.

In the CCTV footage this time, the perpetrators of the motorcycle thefts wore the attributes of online motorcycle taxis. It is strongly suspected that the perpetrators deliberately used the attributes of online motorcycle taxis so that the public would not suspect their actions.

Cepi, the victim who owns the motorbike, said that the theft occurred on Sunday, August 15, yesterday. Before stealing, the perpetrator was seen from the CCTV camera to monitor first.

"I saw CCTV, the perpetrators circled this house which borders the intersection. They monitored and saw the position of the house there was material to be stolen. They came in and saw three motorbikes here," he said when met by reporters, Monday, August 16.

The theft of the perpetrators is classified as very fast. The perpetrator managed to steal in less than a minute and a half.

"It took about a minute and a half, yes, it was out. Two perpetrators rode a large motorbike and the number plate was pointed upwards. The perpetrator used an online motorcycle taxi helmet," he said.

The victim also reported the theft to the Pulogadung Police Headquarters. "I hope the perpetrators are caught soon," added the victim.
