JAKARTA - Indramayu (51) an online motorcycle taxi driver who died as a victim of a brawl at the Paris City Bridge, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, was buried at the Kemiri TPU, East Jakarta. The family hopes that the Johar Baru Police can immediately arrest the perpetrators of the brawl that killed Indra.

"We'll just leave it to the police. We plan to have a funeral at the Kemiri TPU, East Jakarta," Mega Nilamsari, 31, the victim's younger brother, told VOI, Monday, August 16.

Nilam recounted the beginning of the incident that took his brother's life. He said the brawl occurred around 00.00 WIB, Monday, August 16. According to Nilam, his brother did not take part in the brawl, because his brother had just come home from work at the time of the incident.

"So he (the victim) just came home from a motorbike taxi. He didn't take part in the brawl. Indeed, he took the bamboo flag, meaning he wanted to break up the brawl. Now suddenly Baladewa people attacked my brother," said Nilam at the funeral home.

Nilam said, at that time his brother was being chased by the brawlers, only when Indra fell, the perpetrators who saw immediately took advantage of the moment by swinging a sharp weapon at the victim's stomach and chest.

"So when my brother fell, he was stabbed right away by the perpetrator. It penetrated the stomach and chest. The people here immediately took him to the health center, but because of the injuries and heavy bleeding, he was rushed back to the hospital," he said.

When taken to the RSCM and undergoing treatment, the victim's life could not be saved other than suffering serious injuries to the abdomen and chest. The victim was also bleeding profusely.

"The wound was four parts in the abdomen and chest. But maybe because the wound was quite heavy, this morning at 6 the victim was declared dead," he said.
