JAKARTA - Ancol Dreamland Park is preparing to open the area for visitors starting Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Ancol Dreamland Park publicist Rika Lestri said that the Ancol opening was only intended for sports activities.

"Ancol Dreamland Park is prepared to resume operations after the temporary closure of PPKM Level 4 on June 24. Visitors are allowed to enter specifically for those who want to do sports such as running (jogging), leisurely walks and cycling," said Rika in her statement, Monday. , August 16.

Rika emphasized that Ancol visitors are not allowed to swim at the beach, group gymnastics, and other activities that cause crowds.

Later, Ancol will be opened in two sessions, namely in the morning at 06.00-10.00 WIB and in the afternoon at 14.00-18.00 WIB. Rika said that the reopening of the Ancol area still applies a number of very strict health protocols.

"Children under the age of 12 and the elderly over 70 years and pregnant women have not been allowed to enter the Ancol area. They are not allowed to carry out recreational activities such as laying mats and groups," said Rika.

The areas that are opened are limited to the Beach, Allianz Ecopark and the Art Market. Meanwhile, all recreational units in the Ancol Dreamland area such as Dunia Fantasi, Ocean Dream Samudra, Sea World Ancol and Atlantis Water Adventure have not been opened to the public until further information. Visitors are required to purchase tickets online through ancol.com before visit and show the officer upon arrival. In addition, it is mandatory to show proof of a vaccine certificate in the care to protect or JAKI application and printed evidence.

"Security officers and the Ancol COVID-19 Task Force Team will monitor and patrol the activities of visitors who exercise," said Rika.
