Clinic In Bukittinggi Gives 76 Percent Discount On Maternity Costs On August 17
BUKITINGGI - The Mother's Private Practice Midwife (BPS) maternity clinic in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, provides a 76 percent discount to residents who give birth to coincide with the 76th Indonesian Independence Day on August 17.
"To commemorate Independence Day and as a charity to my late husband," said the owner of BPS Bunda, Yenni Fitri in Bukittinggi, quoted by Antara, Monday, August 16.
He said apart from discounting maternity costs, his party also distributed basic necessities to residents.
Yenni said that the 76 percent discount on childbirth costs was specifically set to coincide with the 76th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia to anyone who gave birth on that day.
This discounted delivery fee has also been carried out in previous years at the BPS Bunda clinic, which is located in the Ambacang Hills Arena, Gulai Bancah area.
"In 2020, BPS Bunda also provides a 75 percent discount on childbirth costs according to the age of Indonesian independence," he said.
In addition to providing discounted prices for residents who gave birth at her clinic, Yenni Fitri also distributed social assistance in the form of basic food packages to local residents.
"Meanwhile, to pay attention to local residents whose economy is currently disrupted, BPS Bunda provides assistance in the form of food packages," he said.
The 100 aid packages were distributed to residents in need around the clinic and several other areas.
"It contains rice, eggs, sugar, instant noodles and tea, hopefully it can help people in need," he said.
Previously, in 2020 BPS Bunda gave a discount of 75 percent to five residents who gave birth to their children at the Bunda clinic on August 17, 2020.
The five babies born are known to be residents of Bukittinggi City, residents of Ampek Angkek District, residents of Tilatang Kamang, residents of Kamang Magek and Waega Canduang. All are female
