If you still don't get the right recipe, here's how to make easy and delicious tumpeng rice.
Ingredients:
2 kg of rice
2 liters of coconut milk
15 ml lime juice
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons of turmeric water
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 teaspoon sugar
2 large lemongrass stalks (only the white part)
2 pandan leaves
4 bay leaves
Banana leaves as needed
How to make:
1. Steam the washed rice for 10 minutes.
2. Boil coconut milk, sugar, salt, pandan leaves, bay leaves, lemongrass, and turmeric water until it boils in a large saucepan.
3. Add the steamed rice to the pan and stir until evenly distributed.
4. Add lime juice and cooking oil to the pan. Stir until evenly distributed and let stand until all the water is absorbed.
5. Grease the cone mold as high as 22 cm with oil so it doesn't stick. Cover with a small banana leaf at the end of the cone.
6. Enter the still-hot rice into the mold little by little while pressing so that it is solid and does not break easily when turned over.
7. Turn the cone in a container that has been lined with banana leaves and carefully remove it.
8. Decorate the cone with side dishes according to the competition theme.
