1 TNI Soldier Shot While Patrol In Puncak Regency, Strongly Allegedly KKB Goliath Tabuni Group
PAPUA - Military Resort Command Commander 173/PVB, Brigadier General Iwan Setiawan, confirmed that a shootout occurred in Gome, Puncak Regency, Papua, until a TNI soldier was injured.
"Last Sunday there was indeed a gunfight in Gome that caused a soldier from Infantry Battalion 715/Matuliato to be shot and injured", said Brigadier General Iwan Setiawan when confirmed, Antara, Jayapura, Monday, August 16.
He said the victim, First Lieutenant Rudi Sipayung, had a gunshot wound. Currently, the person concerned has been evacuated to Timika.
