Jerinx's Change In Attitude, Don't Believe In COVID-19 Until Finally Want To Get Vaccinated

JAKARTA - Musician I Gede Ari Astina alias Jerinx SID has finally been vaccinated. In fact, Jerinx was one of the parties who had stated that they did not believe in COVID-19.

Jerinx also underwent vaccination at Polda Metro Jaya, on Sunday, August 15. His decision to be vaccinated after seeking references to various parties.

One of the factors that made Jerinx doubtful was because he had a history of hepatitis. So, he consulted first to confirm his intentions.

"Initially, I was still hesitant because I read about it in Halodoc like that, people with a history of hepatitis should have a consultation first," said Jerinx after undergoing the vaccine at Polda Metro Jaya, Sunday, August 15.

Jerinx decided to receive the COVID-19 vaccine after a long discussion with a virologist named "Pakde" Indro.

After consulting with the doctor, Jerinx believes that the Sinovac vaccine is safe for people who have a history of hepatitis.

"So I recommend to the public at large to consult first with doctors, especially those who have a history of illness before taking the vaccine," said Jerinx.

After being vaccinated, Jerinx's attitude changed. He, who previously stated that he didn't believe in COVID-19, actually invited the public to get vaccinated.

According to Jerinx, being vaccinated means that you have helped Indonesia escape the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Don't be afraid to overdo it. So let's help, let's help so that Indonesia quickly rises again," said Jerinx.

Jerinx also added that there were no significant side effects and interfered with activities after undergoing vaccination.

"Yes, the important thing is to be able to play drums again," said Jerinx.

It is known that Jerinx was involved in the alleged threat of violence against Adam Deni. In this case, Jerinx has been named a suspect.

Investigators from the Polda Metro Jaya have also examined Jerinx as a suspect on Friday night. Furthermore, Jerinx decided to receive the Sinovac vaccine at Polda Metro Jaya on Sunday.

Jerinx's involvement in the alleged criminal act of threatening Deni began with comments related to Jerinx's statement about artists sponsored by COVID-19 via social media.

In the reporting statement, Jerinx was charged with Article 335 of the Criminal Code and or Article 29 Junto Article 45 letter b of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning the ITE Law.
