John Kei's Group Involvement In Behind The Persecution And Destruction In Cipondoh

JAKARTA - The case of the persecution of Yustus Corwing Rahakbau (46) has led to a group of thugs headed by John Kei. He is called the mastermind behind the case because dozens of his group members were arrested.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said that initially the police only arrested two suspected perpetrators of the persecution of Yustus. They are C and JK (John Kei), but during the arrest process, dozens of members of the group tried to intervene. They all were also arrested.

"There are 20 members of the John Kei group who are inside the headquarters, they are trying to block the police action," said Yusri in his statement, Monday, June 22.

Their arrests, continued Yusri, were carried out at the group's headquarters, on Jalan Titian Indah Utama X, Bekasi, West Java. From this place, various types of sharp weapons were found and the police confiscated them as evidence.

However, the police have not been able to confirm that the perpetrator of Yustus's abuse to death with a full stab wound at the ABC junction, Jalan Kresek Raya, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Sunday, June 21. This is because members of John Kei's group who were arrested are still being investigated.

"There is evidence that we secure, such as 28 spears, 24 sharp weapons, 2 slingshots, 3 arrows, and 2 baseball sticks," said Yusri.

The arrest of John Kei and his members was not only based on cases of persecution. They are also suspected of being the perpetrators of the destruction of one of the houses in Cluster Australia Boulevard number 52, Cipondoh, Tangerang.

The perpetrators had previously come to the location in four cars. Those who each equipped themselves with sharp weapons immediately damaged one of the houses in that location.

However, the destructive action was stopped when several gunshots were heard. Then, the perpetrator immediately fled.

In fact, the vandalism was viral on various social media. This is because the actions of the perpetrators were colored by breaking through the fence like in Hollywood films.

Director of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Tubagus Ade Hidayat, said that from the interim examination, there were indications or the possibility of a relationship between the case of destroying the house and the abuse of Yustus. However, to be sure, examinations are still being carried out intensively.

"Yes, one series, we still need to examine the details of the perpetrator," said Tubagus.

There is a suspicion that there is a connection between the case of damage and assault based on the evidence that is secured. So, it is believed that from the dozens of people who were secured, some of them were the perpetrators.

"But among them we believe that with sufficient evidence, among the 25 people are the perpetrators. Some are at least the perpetrators," concluded Tubagus.
