JCI At The Beginning Of The Week Slightly Weakened 2.37 Points To The Level Of 4,939.90

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) opened lower on Monday, June 22 trading. JCI was opened slightly lower 2.37 points or 0.05 percent to the level of 4,939.90.

Opening trades, 18 stocks rose, 20 stocks fell, and 29 stocks remained unchanged. The trading volume was recorded at 45.13 million shares and was transacted for IDR 25.20 billion.

Reliance Sekuritas Indonesia analyst Lanjar Nafi assessed that based on technical analysis, JCI today moved up moderately.

"(JCI) remains in the green zone and tests the psychological level of 5,000 with support resistance at 4930-5170," said Lanjar in his research.

Based on technical analysis, Lanjar recommends the following stocks, namely PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk (ANTM), PT Harum Energy Tbk (HRUM), PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP), PT Mitra Keluarga Kary Advisor Tbk (MIKA), PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA), PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR), and and Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA).

In line with Lanjar, Binaartha Sekuritas analyst M. Nafan Aji Gusta Utama technically estimates that today's JCI will rise.

"This indicates the potential for further strengthening in the JCI movement so that it has the opportunity to go to the nearest resistance," he said.

He added that the index's support area for today is in the range of the levels of 4,865 to 4,778. Meanwhile, resistance is in the range 4,975 to 5,097.

As for a number of share recommendations that can be considered by investors, including PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO), PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN), PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA), PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG), and PT Timah Tbk (TINS).
