This Is What Criminologist Lucky Nurhadiyanto Said About The Murder Of A Cupping Therapist At The Bottom Of The Bekasi Toll Road

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has just carried out a reconstruction of the case of the murder of a woman under the Bekasi toll road on Friday, August 13. Through the reconstruction, a number of scenes were demonstrated to determine the chronology of the incident. It was revealed that the motive behind this case was the unfulfilled lust of the suspect.

Criminologist Lucky Nurhadiyanto, M.Sc. helped highlight this incident from the beginning until the arrest of the perpetrator. From that incident, Lucky concluded three things, the perpetrator's impulsive personality, low self-control, and weak social bonds.

“First, the perpetrator's impulsive personality, which can be seen from the ease with which he throws a punch. His actions are risky, short-sighted and predominantly non-verbal. Second, low self-control, starting from the absence of supervision and instability of social relations. Three, the weak social ties that exist between the perpetrator and the victim. The accumulation of these three aspects leads to the vulnerability of the perpetrator to various external stimuli, in this case such as insults from the victim and desires that are not fulfilled by the victim.” Lucky, a criminologist at Budi Luhur University, told VOI, Friday, August 13.

Lucky assessed that what the suspect did tended to be spontaneous, there was no preparation. The suspect was only trying to cover his tracks after taking someone's life.

“From the chronology, the tendency of spontaneous or reactive elements is more dominant. Like there was no preparation made by the perpetrator and a strong intention to commit murder. The element of intention that is converted into action is often the motive in premeditated murder. However, in the case of murder under the Bekasi toll road, it is not visible. The victim's intention can be seen from the effort to obscure his tracks, not the tendency to commit murder. In addition, this can also be seen from the lack of preparation made by the perpetrators.” said Lucky,

Allegedly there is a psychological disorder, Lucky has not been able to investigate further because it requires an in-depth investigation and study of the suspect.

"Regarding the symptoms of psychological disorders, it requires a more in-depth search and study. In the criminological context, elements of social construction experienced by perpetrators such as impulsiveness, low self-control, and weak social ties tend to be more dominant. Obviously.

In simple terms, Lucky considers the perpetrator's impulsiveness to encourage him to commit murder.

“The fragility of the perpetrator's self-control aspect and the absence of barriers to social relations are the underlying factors. It manifests in the form of low self-control in the face of external stimuli, namely verbal abuse from the victim, the victim's refusal to have sexual relations, to the victim's intention to marry another man." Lucky said.
