Deputy Governor Riza Brings Good News: Jakarta Out Of The Red Zone Of COVID-19, Only 7 RTs Left

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said that currently the capital city is generally out of the red zone or the risk of being prone to COVID-19. In fact, the red zone on a small scale remains 7 RT.

"Alhamdulillah, we are out of the red zone. There are only 7 red RTs, the remaining 349 RT orange zones, and 24,011 green RTs," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Friday, August 13.

On the corona.jakarta.co.id website as of August 10 to 16, 2021, it was recorded that the red zones for the spread of Covid-19 were only in two areas, namely East Jakarta with 4 RTs and South Jakarta with 3 RTs.

In detail, the red zones in South Jakarta are located in RT 006 RW 003, Ciganjur Village, RT 004 RW 005 Ciganjur Village, and RT 009 RW 007 Srengseng Sawah Village.

The red zones in East Jakarta are located in RT 006 RW 003, Cibubur Village, RT 002 RW 001, Kramat Jati Village, RT 011 RW 005 Susukan Village, and RT 007 RW 003 Susukan Village.

Meanwhile, the bed occupancy ratio (BOR) at the COVID-19 referral hospital is 33 percent and the ICU room is 59 percent.

Meanwhile, the achievement of the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination in Jakarta reached 8,771,557 people, and the second dose was 3,820,779. Thus, DKI has injected more than 12,592,000 doses of vaccine.

"We have met the initial target, but since a few days ago we set a target of 11 million (vaccinated people) because more than 30 or even 40 percent of those vaccinated in Jakarta are non-Jakarta residents," Riza explained.

"We have never differentiated between zones, we serve all of them well, whether residents of Jakarta or non-Jakarta ID cards. Even foreigners we serve well. So, this is for our common good humanity," he continued.
