Tire Repairman In Kali Bayur, Tangerang, Found Dead From Electrocution In Kali Bayur

JAKARTA - Residents of Periuk Tangerang City were suddenly busy knowing that the body of a man was found floating in the Bayur River, Friday, August 13, at 15.00 WIB. Based on the information obtained, the body was named Tambun, 47 years old.

"Yes, it was found floating on the edge of the Bayur River," said Viky Nugraha, Secretary of the Youth Organization of Periuk District.

Viky said the body of this middle-aged man had been evacuated by officers to the Tangerang District Hospital.

"Earlier they had been evacuated and taken by ambulance," he said.

According to Viky, the victim allegedly fell in Kali Bayur after being electrocuted by high voltage electricity on the banks of Kali Bayur.

"So, the victim is a tire patch worker. It is suspected that the victim was electrocuted while connecting the cable for lighting the tire patch," he concluded.
