BKN Files Objection To The Ombudsman's Final Report On The TWK Of KPK Employees
JAKARTA - The State Civil Service Agency (BKN) has expressed objections to the final report on the results of the Indonesian Ombudsman's examination regarding the implementation of the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) for employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
In the results of the report, the Indonesian Ombudsman found abuse of authority and maladministration in the TWK as a condition for changing the status of KPK employees to State Civil Apparatus (ASN).
"We, BKN, exercise the right to object to the Ombudsman's statement at the conclusion of the LAHP which states that there has been maladministration, abuse of authority and procedural irregularities in the process of transferring the status of KPK employees to ASN," said Deputy Head of BKN Supranawa Yusuf in an online press conference, Friday, August 13. .
Submission of this objection, he continued, was in accordance with the provisions of Ombudsman Regulation Number 48 of 2020 concerning Procedures for Accepting Examination and Completion of Reports.
The objection, said Supranawa, was conveyed because his party felt that the conclusions drawn from the examination by the Indonesian Ombudsman were not correct. There were a number of objections raised by BKN including denying the statement by the Indonesian Ombudsman if his party was incompetent to carry out the TWK of KPK employees.
"BKN confirms that BKN is very competent in carrying out the TWK assessment. Therefore, we, BKN object to the conclusion of the Indonesian Ombudsman. We state that this conclusion is an incorrect conclusion," said Supranawa.
In addition to objections, this agency also mentioned two corrective actions decided by the Indonesian Ombudsman they had previously carried out. So, there is nothing new that needs to be done by BKN.
The two corrective actions include the RI Ombudsman asking BKN to make a roadmap to develop mechanisms, instruments, and prepare assessors in the context of transferring status as ASN. Second, the RI Ombudsman asked BKN to form a new regulation for the management of ASN management.
"There is or is no corrective action taken by the Indonesian Ombudsman, in fact BKN already has the program," he concluded.
