This Afternoon The Monday Underpass That Was Hit By A Truck Is Now Passable

JAKARTA - After being hit by a dump truck, the Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-department repaired the vehicle height barrier at the Senen Underpass, Central Jakarta.

Acting (Plt) Head of Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-department (Kasudin) Agustio said that his staff immediately repaired the underpass barrier pole.

"We took off the pole immediately and we made repairs at the location by welding it again," Agustio said when contacted, Friday, August 13.

During pole repair, the underpass road access will be temporarily closed. The Bina Marga Sub-Department has coordinated with transportation officers and the police in diverting traffic.

"At the latest in the afternoon it will be completed and the Underpass can be passed again by vehicles," he said.

Previously, a dump truck with police number (Nopol) B 9485 TYY was involved in a single accident at the underpass of Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Central Jakarta, Friday, August 13, early in the morning.

This accident occurred because the driver fell asleep. The accident case was handled by the Central Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit.
