DPRD Agrees RPJMD DKI Revised, But Only Program 2020 To 2022
JAKARTA - The DKI DPRD has approved changes to the regional medium-term development plan (RPJMD) proposed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan. However, the revised program achievements that were approved to be changed were only three years of Anies' leadership term, namely 2020, 2021, and 2022.
The chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetio Edi Marsudi, said that a substantive discussion would take place at the Regional Regulation Formation Agency (Bapemperda) of the DPRD.
"What is being discussed is the 2020 2022 RPJMD, so don't let 2017 2018 2019 be included in the discussion. Today's conclusion is that we can carry out discussions at Bapemperda," Prasetio said in a statement on the DPRD's official website, quoted on Friday, August 13.
Prasetio explained that the adjustment to the RPJMD would also discuss changes in Anies program indicators that could not be achieved in 2020 to 2022.
In addition, Prasetio also emphasized that the amendment to the RPJMD proposed by Anies must refer to Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 18 of 2020 concerning the 2020-2024 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN).
Where, the Presidential Regulation was issued due to the emergence of the national COVID-19 pandemic which had an impact on the level of economic growth and regional development, so adjustments were needed to the regional work plans (RKPD) and adjustments to the RPJMD.
"Therefore, I emphasize to all parties that the policy according to the vision and mission of the Governor of DKI Jakarta which took place in the 2018-2019 period before the national COVID-19 pandemic disaster could not be changed," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province, Marullah Matali, ensured that his party was committed to consistently discussing changes to the 2020-2022 RPJMD according to the results of deliberations with the DPRD.
"Indeed, the regional regulations sound 2017 to 2022, but that doesn't mean we will discuss 2017, 2018, and 2019. So, the content of our final draft submission only covers 2020 2021 and 2022, that's what we emphasize," said Marullah.
Therefore, Marullah ensured that his party would follow up on the input and suggestions that developed from the DPRD factions so that the changes to the Anies program indicators as outlined in the RPJMD changes could later be completed in the remaining term of office.
"And if this is discussed on time as scheduled, we probably won't be late," he added.
