MVN Investor Relations Samuel Hartono Tanoesoedibjo revealed that MNC Vision's revenue comes from satellite services, which consist of the company's two DTH units, namely MNC Vision which is a postpaid service and K-Vision as a prepaid service. Meanwhile, in the first six months of 2020, it posted IDR 1.24 trillion to IDR 1.27 trillion in the first six months of 2021.

"The growth in satellite service revenues was mainly due to the continued positive achievements in customer acquisition of K-Vision. In the second quarter of 2021, K-Vision succeeded in acquiring a total of 1.1 million new subscribers and achieved a total sales of reload vouchers of Rp94.7 billion, ' said Samuel.

He said that K-Vision made its best achievement in June 2021, which collected IDR 55.7 billion from the sale of reload vouchers, most of which came from EURO Cup 2020 matches.

In addition, the company also received digital IPTV and broadband service revenues of IDR 706.5 billion in the first semester of 2021. This figure experienced a significant increase compared to the same period the previous year of IDR 430.2.

This growth was driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced the government to implement social restrictions which in turn improved the performance of MNC Play (broadband and IPTV) and Vision+ (OTT Video Service).

"In addition, in the first semester of 2021, MNC Play continues to expand its customer base and has succeeded in reaching 301,000 subscribers by maximizing network capacity leasing from third parties," said Samuel.

As for the Vision+ business, it has amassed more than 2 million paid subscribers and 50.3 million Monthly Active Users (MAU).
