Erick Thohir Officially Appointed Rudiantara As President Commissioner Of Semen Indonesia
JAKARTA - The state-owned cement producer, PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) today, Friday, June 19 held an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), one of which is a replacement of commissioners.
During the AGMS, Soekarwo's resignation as President Commissioner was approved. In exchange, the Semen Indonesia AGMS approved the appointment of Rudiantara as President Commissioner.
Rudiantara is known as the Minister of Communication and Informatics (Menkominfo) of the Republic of Indonesia in the 2014-2019 Working Cabinet. Rudiantara is a professional in the field of telecommunications and has worked at Indosat, Telkomsel, Excelcomindo, and Telkom. Rudiantara has also worked at PLN as Deputy President Director.
In addition to the replacement of commissioners, the AGMS of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk also approved the distribution of cash dividends of IDR 239.22 billion, equivalent to 10 percent of the company's net profit under the SIG brand throughout 2019, which amounted to IDR 2.39 trillion.
"The 2020 Annual GMS in Jakarta. The meeting, among others, approved the determination of current year profit attributable to owners of the parent company (net profit) in 2019 amounting to Rp2.39 trillion which is earmarked as dividends of 10 percent or Rp. , Adi Munandir.
Meanwhile, Adi continued, 90 percent of net profit in 2019 or Rp2.15 trillion was determined as other reserve funds.

For your information, Semen Indonesia in 2019 recorded revenues of IDR 40.37 trillion, up 31.5 percent compared to 2018 of IDR 30.69 trillion. Net income attributable to owners of the parent entity amounting to Rp2.39 trillion. Meanwhile, basic earnings per share was recorded at IDR 403.
The sales performance of Semen Indonesia in 2019 on a consolidated basis recorded a total domestic and export sales volume of 42.61 million tons, including sales from Vietnam's Thang Long Cement (TLCC). The sales volume increased by 28.5 percent compared to the same period in 2018 of 33.17 tons.
