JCI At The End Of The Week Slightly Strengthened 17.03 Points To The Level Of 4,942.28
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed higher at the weekend. JCI on Friday, June 19 closed up 0.35 percent or 17.03 points to 4,942.28.
Closing the trade, 165 stocks rose, 248 shares fell, and 155 shares were stagnant. The trading volume was recorded at 6.80 billion shares and was transacted at IDR6.90 trillion.
Binaartha Sekuritas analyst, M. Nafan Aji Gustama, said that the 25 bps decline in the BI rate to 4.25 percent began to be appreciated by market players.
"On the other hand, the market also highly appreciates the increase in world commodity prices to date," Nafan said to VOI.
This afternoon, stocks that were among the top gainers, among them, PT Nusantara Properti Internasional Tbk (NATO) which rose 23.70 percent to IDR334, PT Karya Bersama Anugerah Tbk (KBAG) which gained 4.76 percent to IDR352. and PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) which strengthened 3.55 percent to Rp1,460.
While stocks that are in the top losers ranks, among them, PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk (PTBA) which fell 6.94 percent to Rp2,280, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) which fell 6.77 percent to IDR 7,225, and PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk (ASRI) which fell 4.83 percent to IDR138.
