24 Perverted Teenagers At The Hotel Scrambled By The Bogor Satpol PP, Condoms And Instant Messaging Transactions Become Evidence

BOGOR - The Hunting Team for Violators of the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in the City of Bogor has arrested 24 lascivious young couples who are suspected of being involved in prostitution.

They were arrested while raiding a hotel in Tanah Sareal District, Jalan RE Martadinata, Bogor City, West Java, Wednesday, August 11 last night.

Officers from the Bogor City Satpol PP, Bogor City Police, Kodim 0606/Bogor City and Denpom III/1 Bogor found a number of contraceptives as well as evidence of conversations about online prostitution transactions through the instant messaging application chat on the young couple's cell phone.

The young couple were then taken to the Bogor City Hall for further examination.

Head of Bogor City Satpol PP Agustiansyah said this action was carried out based on reports from the public who saw many teenagers going in and out of the hotel being raided, and suspected that there was prostitution.

"We from the Joint Team for Hunting PPKM Violators of Bogor City studied the report and based on field investigations, we carried out raids at hotels which indicated that many guests were receiving immoral acts," Agustiansyah said as quoted by Antara, Thursday, August 12.

According to Agustiansyah, when the raid was carried out, the joint team found that there were 24 non-married couples in the hotel room. "We are taking care that in this COVID-19 pandemic situation, everyone can obey the rules," he said again.

Agus stated that after further investigation, some of the couples were proven to have practiced online prostitution. "The transaction is using a chat messaging application. The chat message is on each of their cell phones, who make an appointment at this hotel."

To account for their actions, the 24 young couples will be subject to minor criminal sanctions (tipiring), in accordance with Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2021 concerning Public Order and Public Peace, namely violating immorality.

"We are further deepening the extent to which they have committed the violation, later they will be tried. We will also review the hotel, if it is proven that they have committed a violation, we will give sanctions in the form of warnings, warnings, and temporary closures," he also said.
