Head of the DAMRI Corporate Secretariat Division, Sidik Pramono, in a press release quoting Antara, Wednesday, August 11, said that there are a number of conditions that must be considered for every prospective DAMRI passenger during the PPKM period.
He explained that previously these conditions had been applied. Then the government extended the PPKM, so that it continued to apply these conditions.
Among the requirements that must be met by prospective DAMRI passengers are having a first dose of vaccine card and a certificate of negative results for an antigen rapid test, a maximum of 1x24 hours before departure or a negative result of an RT-PCR test a maximum of 2x24 hours.
For prospective passengers who work in the formal sector, he said, they must bring a Worker Registration Certificate (STRP) or a Letter of Assignment from the company leadership.
He conveyed that the requirements for prospective DAMRI passengers were applied referring to the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation Number 54 of 2021 and Circular Letter of the COVID-19 Task Force Number 15 of 2021 concerning Restrictions on Community Activities during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Meanwhile, related to the extension of the PPKM, the DAMRI Surabaya route, namely Juanda-Gresik, Juanda-Mojokerto, Maulana Malik Ibrahim Tomb Religious Transportation, tourism transportation, inter-city buses, and routes from and to the airport temporarily stopped operating.
"For customers who have ordered tickets or made reservations, they can make a refund or reschedule by visiting the official DAMRI counter," he said.
As for other routes, he said, they are still operating with the implementation of strict health protocols.
