PANGKALPINANG - To increase competitiveness in the world of business and work, the Provincial Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands has opened skills training for vocational high school (SMK) students.
"Shortly we will provide skills training to students of SMKN 1 Pangkalan Baru", said Head of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province Manpower Office, Elfiyena in Pangkalpinang, quoting Antara, Wednesday, August 11.
The synergy between the Manpower Office through the Vocational Training Center (BLK) of the Province of the Babel Islands with SMK N 1 Pangkalan Baru, Central Bangka Regency, is expected to be able to produce quality students who can compete in an increasingly tight world of work.
"Hopefully the existence of the Babel Manpower Office can create innovations at SMKN 1 Pangkalan Baru. We hope to produce excellent students who are ready to enter the world of work", he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of SMK Negeri 1 Pangkalan Baru, Kurnia, welcomed the collaboration with Bangka Belitung Vocational Training Center, because it can produce excellent and quality students.
He said the study programs of his expertise were business management, tourism (hospitality), computer network engineering, and skin and hair beauty.
