Tragic! Scottish Champions Rangers Knocked Out 10 Malmo Players From Champions League Qualification

JAKARTA - Scottish champions Rangers were eliminated from the third round of Champions League qualification after being beaten 2-1 by Sweden's Malmo in the second leg match at Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow, Tuesday local time.

In fact, Malmo finished half the game with just 10 players following midfielder Bonke Innocent's second yellow card before half-time.

Rangers actually took the lead in the 18th minute when Alfredo Morelos completed Ryan Kent's pass to find the visitors' goal.

However, after half-time and facing 10 Rangers goalkeepers, Antonio-Mirko Colak was beaten twice.

The Croatian striker made it level when he converted Veljko Birmancevic's ball in the 53rd minute from the center of the box.

The goal seemed to break the concentration of the Rangers players and four minutes later Colak again tricked goalkeeper Allan McGregor to bring Malmo back in the lead.

Rangers completely failed to take advantage of the 11 against 10 situation and the score 1-2 lasted until dispersal, making Malmo advance to the qualifying playoffs with a 4-2 aggregate victory.
